Amadeus announced the launch of a travel intelligence suite today that aims to help agents use big data to their advantage. Amadeus Agency Insight, developed by the Amadeus Travel Intelligence unit, is a suite of products and services that allows agents to leverage big data to discover new routes and markets, tap into travelers’ search behavior and assess their performance against competitors.
Search Analysis gives agents a window into travelers’ minds by analyzing travelers’ Internet searches. This allows agencies to identify the top destinations, travel dates and average trip duration to help them tailor offers to clients.Via the multi-environment Amadeus Travel Intelligence Engine, data can be gathered across a traveler’s entire travel cycle (including the inspiration, search, booking, in-trip and post-trip stages), enabling greater personalization and more merchandising opportunities.
