It now has some 18,000 employees. Expedia provides a best price guarantee – the cheapest available fares and rates for a given trip as well as offer more expensive direct routes and fares. Expedia’s platform is high tech and low fees. It is beginning to ‘power’ many travel agencies and corporate buyers. Expedia is a tech company first, they are a people company and have some 10,000 call centre agents speaking 30+ different languages.
