IHG and Amadeus to work together to develop GenNext GRS

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced that they will continue its strategic relationship with Amadeus, an international provider of advanced technology solutions for the global travel industry, to develop a next-generation Guest Reservation System (GRS) that will revolutionise the technological foundations of the global hospitality industry. Amadeus will use a new cloud-based community model, a first in the hotel sector, and similar to the model it developed for the global airline industry.
